This position puts you on the frontline of customer engagement, responding to shoppers and resolving concerns through live chat on e-commerce storefronts built with BigCommerce. Your focus will be delivering swift, accurate support that addresses customer needs and strengthens their connection to the platform.
What you will be doing: As a live chat support agent, you’ll field incoming customer inquiries through real-time chat windows on merchant websites and social platforms. You’ll assist both established customers with support needs and prospective buyers with sales-related questions.
Contract length: No fixed term.
Rate: $35 per hour.
Skills/background needed: You’ll need a computer, smartphone, or tablet capable of accessing website chat platforms and social media channels. Self-directed work ethic required. Strong attention to detail when executing established protocols. A minimum of 10 hours weekly availability. Stable, dependable internet access.
Hours per week: 10 + hours a week.
