This entry-level remote usability testing position lets you work from home while evaluating digital products for user experience improvements. You’ll assess how apps function across different devices, pinpoint usability issues, and document your findings. Roles: Install applications on your mobile device and work through their full functionality. Document your testing experience in written summaries, noting any bugs, design flaws, or user experience problems you encounter.
Requirements: You must have access to at least one of the following devices: iPhone, iPad, Android Smartphone, or Android Tablet.
Contract length: No fixed term.
Rate: $35 per hour, adjustable based on application complexity and documentation depth required.
Skills/background needed:
- Access to a smartphone or tablet with capability to download and operate applications
- Comfortable working without direct supervision
- Capacity to adhere to detailed testing protocols and guidelines
- Minimum 5+ hours weekly availability
- Stable broadband internet connection
Hours per week: Flexible.
