We’re seeking motivated Sales Associates to provide chat support for online shoppers at the entry level, no prior experience necessary. You’ll interact with customers through live messaging, answer product questions, assist with purchases, and resolve transaction issues including returns and exchanges. The ideal candidate combines patience with professionalism in every customer conversation.
What you will be doing: As a chat support specialist, you’ll respond to customer messages arriving through live chat windows on business websites and social platforms. These conversations range from product inquiries and checkout assistance from prospective buyers to post-purchase support from existing customers.
Contract length: No fixed term.
Rate: $35 per hour.
Skills/background needed: A working device that accesses website chat systems and social messaging features (smartphone, tablet, or computer). Capacity to work self-directed without supervision. Strong ability to follow detailed guidelines and procedures exactly as written. Minimum 10+ hours weekly availability. Dependable broadband connection required.
Hours per week: 10 + hours a week.
