We’re hiring remote chat support specialists to provide assistance to online store operators using the Ecwid platform. You’ll engage with sellers through live chat, helping them troubleshoot store configurations, address operational challenges, and boost their revenue streams. This role focuses exclusively on chat-based communication with no phone responsibilities, making it perfect for individuals with excellent writing abilities who value schedule flexibility.
What you will be doing: As a chat support specialist, you’ll respond to incoming inquiries from sellers using the live chat platform integrated into their storefronts and social channels. These conversations may range from troubleshooting questions from active merchants to pre-purchase inquiries from prospective store owners.
Contract length: No fixed term.
Rate: $35 per hour.
Skills/background needed: Requires access to a device compatible with chat platforms and social media interfaces, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Capacity to adhere carefully to established protocols and guidelines. Minimum 10+ hours weekly availability required. Stable, dependable internet connection essential.
Hours per week: 10 + hours a week.
Location: Remote work online, United States preferred.
