As a Content Specialist focused on App UX Testing and Reviews, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping how applications perform in the real world. Your role involves hands-on evaluation of mobile apps across various platforms, assessing their user interface design, feature functionality, and overall usability. You’ll produce comprehensive review content that documents both what works well and where improvements are needed, providing valuable insights to development teams committed to refining their products.
Roles: Your primary responsibility is to install applications on your mobile device and systematically work through their features and functionality. Following this testing phase, you’ll compose detailed written reviews documenting your findings, noting any bugs, design concerns, or usability challenges you encounter.
Requirements: You must have access to at least one compatible device from this list: iPhone, iPad, Android-based smartphone, or Android-based tablet.
Contract length: Ongoing, no fixed end date.
Rate: $35 per hour, with adjustments based on app complexity and review depth expectations.
Skills/background needed:
- Ownership of a mobile device with proficiency in downloading, installing, and navigating applications
- Capacity to work autonomously without constant oversight
- Strong attention to detail when following test protocols and specification guidelines
- Minimum 5 hours weekly availability to dedicate to assignments
